  • The Urban League of Racine and Kenosha honored educators at a banquet held during Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Kindness Week, recognizing local teachers for their commitment to education.  Kenosha News

  • On Friday, the City of Kenosha honored WWII veteran Edward W. Maurer by proclaiming Jan. 30 as Edward W. Maurer Day in recognition of his 100th birthday and service. Mayor David Bogdala presented the proclamation, praising Maurer's military and community contributions.  Kenosha County Eye
