- ➤ Kenosha Unified School District will host its annual Black History Bee on Thursday, Mar. 5 at 9:30 a.m. in the Mahone Middle School auditorium (6900 60th St); fourth and fifth graders, after studying 50 influential Black Americans in February, will compete and be honored for art and writing. - ➤ The Westosha Central School Board appointed Jacob Biehn to fill the at-large seat left by Bonnie Felske’s resignation after interviewing five candidates. A 1999 graduate and local parent, he will join his first board meeting on March 10 and serve until April 2027. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ Kenosha Unified School District will host its 63rd Annual Orchestra Festival on Saturday, March 21 at 6:30 p.m. at Indian Trail High School and Academy (6800 60th St.), where nearly 1,400 student musicians will perform live and the event will be streamed for free in the auditorium. - ➤ The University of Wisconsin-Parkside MBA program was recognized as one of the best in the state, reflecting strong academic achievements. Officials said the honor underscores a commitment to quality education. Kenosha News
