COMMUNITY NEWS

  • Pleasant Prairie residents oppose a proposed 145ft cell tower (raising concerns over health and property values) near church property. The Village said the incomplete application is on hold, though state law may require approval if a complete submission is later received.  TMJ-4
  • Construction is underway on the Lincoln King Community Center and Health Clinic next to Julian Thomas Elementary School along Dr. Martin Luther King Drive and will be completed by year-end.  Kenosha News

EDUCATION NEWS

  • Kathleen and Peter Barca were named the 2026 Shebaniah B. Judah Signature Award recipients by the Mahone Foundation, honoring their work in education and community service. The award will be presented at the Reaching for Rainbows Scholarship Gala on Friday, May 8 at Carthage College in Kenosha.  Kenosha.com
