- ➤ Kenosha Area Business Alliance celebrated 30 years as a local economic driver at its annual meeting on Mar. 25 at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. The event underlined the group's role in boosting business and community development. Kenosha News
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The National Weather Service survey team said that a downburst and straight line winds on April 2 caused tree damage, roof losses, and power outages on Kenosha's north side, and ruled out a tornado. Kenosha Emergency Management helped gather damage reports after the storm. WGTD
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ In response to Thursday night's severe weather, city crews will survey neighborhoods and clear storm debris as schedules allow. Residents should place brush at the curb and may use the Compost Brush and Bulk Recycling Drop-Off Sites starting Monday, April 6 (city offices are closed Friday for Good Friday). WLIP
- ➤ After April 2 severe weather, Kenosha will offer curbside brush debris pickup while residents place items at the curb; the Compost/Brush Drop-Off Site at 4071 88th Ave and the Bulk & Recycling drop-off at 1001 50th St open Monday, April 6. Kenosha.com
