  • Public Brewing Company invites the community to its Customer Appreciation Night on Friday, April 18th from 3pm to 9pm with live music by Pete McDermott, drink specials including half-off beers, free brewery tours, and other offers.   • Public Brewing Company will host a Customer Appreciation Night in Kenosha on April 18th from 3pm to 9pm to thank local customers with half-off beers, free food specials, live music by Pete McDermott of Ladybird starting at 5pm, and free brewery tours at 4pm and 6pm. CRIME NEWS

  • A 19-year-old Salem Lakes woman is facing felony charges after allegedly stabbing her child's father during a domestic dispute Sunday morning at a home on Antioch Road—she appeared in court on Monday with $5,000 bail and faces charges of recklessly endangering safety, false imprisonment, and disorderly conduct.  Kenosha County Eye

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The Kenosha Unified School District installed vape detectors in middle and high school bathrooms yesterday to address rising student vaping. The sensors send real-time alerts to administrators and will lead to student discipline if vaping is detected — officials said the measure aims to reduce nicotine exposure among students.  Kenosha County Eye

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The Kenosha Common Council approved agreements with Torresin Builders and Rocketmen Investments, LLC to build 15 affordable owner-occupied homes on vacant city-owned lots under the Home Kenosha program. Developers must submit final plans and proof of financing before the city transfers each lot at a nominal price, with Torresin Builders scheduled to complete the first two homes by August and Rocketmen Investments following a similar timeline.  WLIP
