GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ State transportation officials announced a 1.8-mile section of WIS 158 on 52nd Street will be closed for improvements beginning Monday, April 14; work will continue until late summer—resurfacing pavement, upgrading signals at two intersections, and replacing a culvert—while local access is maintained. - ➤ Assistant District Attorney Paul Lasswell was fired last week after reports of bad behavior in and out of court — including leaving court early and sending an angry email to a defense lawyer that led to his dismissal from the District Attorney’s Office.
