ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Flooding continues along the Lower Fox River near New Munster as water levels near 15 feet lead to road closures and affect low-lying neighborhoods. Officials urge residents to avoid submerged areas and monitor local updates for safety. WLIP
- ➤ Kenosha Water Utility diverted diluted wastewater into Lake Michigan — from three sites from 10:40 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday — after heavy rain saturated the system; this follows a similar bypass near 89th Street and 17th Avenue reported days earlier. Kenosha County Eye
