Mt. Pleasant has hired internationally known artist Thomas Dambo to create a giant troll sculpture from recycled materials for a new public park planned next year (donors and volunteers can email to help); funding comes from the village’s hotel/motel tax after a similar project in Wauwatosa drew 62,000 visitors.
