- ➤ Firefighters arrived early Tuesday morning at Uncle Mike’s Highway Pub as police said the restaurant was closed for renovations so no one was inside—officials continue to investigate the cause of the fire—. TMJ-4
- ➤ Elsie Mae's Canning and Pies lost their building when a fire broke out during renovations on 120th Avenue in Kenosha Tuesday at 3 a.m. — fire officials say the building is a total loss and the cause is under investigation. TMJ-4

Smith faces four domestic abuse cases involving the same alleged victim—officers responded on April 27 after a neighbor reported an injured woman fleeing his home, and bail was set at $2,500 in his latest case with three remaining pending. - ➤ Kenosha Police warn residents that thieves are using hidden skimming devices at ATMs and gas pumps, advising the use of tap-to-pay and shielding PINs — a man was arrested last month on 50 felony charges for installing these devices. TMJ-4

- ➤ The Kenosha Italian Fest will take place from September 20 to 21 at Celebration Place on the scenic lakefront, featuring a parade that starts at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday with brass band music and traditional Italian dancers as it winds through downtown before returning to the festival grounds.
