- ➤ Tom Nevala, a 57-year-old union electrician and local rock band member from Bristol, rescued a young woman from a burning car on Highway 83 on May 2 as flames quickly spread—two crash victims were airlifted and Nevala will perform at Bender's Bar and Grill this weekend. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ Superintendent Soren Gajewski outlined RUSD's successes & challenges during a recent district meeting in Kenosha, detailing upcoming initiatives designed to boost education. Kenosha News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Federal agencies are reviewing the Bureau of Indian Affairs' draft environmental assessment for the proposed casino development in Kenosha after the public comment period closed. The Department of the Interior and BIA will determine the next steps soon. Kenosha News
