- ➤ More than 100 children aged 5 to 11 attended the Pleasant Prairie Bike Rodeo on Saturday, riding obstacle courses, learning bike safety, and receiving free helmets plus T-shirts in the Village Hall parking lot. - ➤ Local law enforcement and community members gathered Wednesday in Kenosha to honor fallen officers at a memorial ceremony where tributes and speeches recognized their service + sacrifices, and families + colleagues shared memories. Kenosha News

- ➤ Kenosha County’s Finance and Administration Committee voted 3-2 on Thursday night to reject lowering the sheriff’s deputy hiring age from 21 to 19, and the panel also turned down reducing the application age and college credit requirement. The full County Board will take up the issue on Tuesday. Kenosha News
- ➤ Kenosha Water Utility received increased federal and state funding and will begin replacing between 700 and 900 lead water lines in two census tracts from early June until mid-November. Property owners must return a right of entry form by May 30 (or risk an interruption in water service) to receive free lead pipe replacement. WGTD
