CRIME NEWS

  • A Kenosha man, 37-year-old Samuel B. Erickson, appeared in court Monday on a felony stalking charge for repeatedly contacting his wife, tracking her with a hidden GPS device, and making threats—his preliminary hearing is set for May 23.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Two of three defendants charged with felonies in the death of Helen Ende, an assisted living resident who wandered from Parkside Manor, reached tentative plea deals and will appear for hearings on June 3rd—while the third defendant is set to go on trial today in Kenosha Court.  WGTD
  • On May 19, 2025, a 27-year-old Bloomfield man faced felony charges after he allegedly trapped his pregnant girlfriend in his truck—he drove recklessly through county roads while ignoring her pleas to be let out.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Two large dogs mauled and killed two pets and bit an elderly man on Kenosha's south side, and the Kenosha County Division of Health has declared them vicious— banning them from living in the city.  Kenosha County Eye
  • A 29-year-old Kenosha man was held on $2,500 cash bail Monday after prosecutors charged him with choking and injuring his pregnant partner during a domestic incident last week.  Kenosha County Eye

  • Kenosha Unified School District was named one of the Best Communities for Music Education by the NAMM Foundation for the eighth year in a row — a national honor that shows the district's strong support for music classes.  Kenosha County Eye
  • More than 550 graduates received their diplomas during UW-Parkside's spring commencement held Saturday — the ceremony took place at the De Simone Arena and honored the students' achievements.  Kenosha News

  • Salem Lakes Village Administrator Cassandra Hiller faces job uncertainty after the DNR issued a formal notice of noncompliance for unpermitted grading in a protected wetland near the village hall.
