- ➤ The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office identified the pedestrian—killed on May 13 after being struck by a vehicle while crossing Green Bay Road in Somers—and the incident is under review. Kenosha News
- ➤ Authorities identified 77-year-old Kenosha man Wayne N. Stade—who died on May 13 when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing State Highway 31 in Somers at about 3 a.m.—and 71-year-old Mount Prospect man Robert Clauss, who died Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash at Deer Park. WLIP

- ➤ During her annual State of the County address Tuesday, Kenosha County Executive Samantha Kerkman highlighted three years of accomplishments including fiscal successes that reduced property taxes and saved more than $1 million in interest costs along with economic growth from Eli Lilly’s expansion and Microsoft’s land purchase. She also announced that the courthouse centennial will be celebrated with a community event on Sunday, Aug 24 and that a restoration project for the South Branch of the Pike River is underway—efforts aimed at keeping Kenosha County an attractive place to live, work and play.
