- ➤ Wisconsin officials released the 2026 Rustic Roads Guide featuring 126 Rustic Roads and five Scenic Byways spanning over 700 miles in 61 counties, promoting scenic routes marked by brown & yellow signs and a 45 mph speed limit. The guide is available in print and online. WLIP
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Gateway Technical College awarded degrees to a record 604 graduates during commencement ceremonies on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 19-20. The milestone marks a historic achievement for the college. Kenosha News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Kenosha residents will not see curbside trash and recycling pickup on Monday, May 25 due to the Memorial Day holiday + all scheduled routes will shift one day with service resuming June 1 while those needing special pickups must contact Public Works in advance. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ Tuesday night, the Kenosha County Board of Supervisors voted for a one-year pause on new battery energy storage projects in Wheatland amid safety worries from local residents. Robin Energy Storage said it will check state rules to try to keep the project moving forward. TMJ-4
