- ➤ Library Park in Kenosha is undergoing a landscaping project that will add new plants & upgrade green space. Local library leadership say the project is expected to spur further revitalization efforts in the area. Kenosha News
- ➤ The ELCA Outreach Center, which has helped Kenosha residents for nearly 30 years, will host its first annual golf outing on June 29 at Kenosha Country Club (500 13th Ave) with a noon shotgun start, and registration is $175 per golfer or $700 per foursome to fund local services. Kenosha.com

- ➤ Residents in Salem Lakes can look forward to a free summer concert series that will start in early June at Schmalfeldt Park in Silver Lake (families are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets). Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ In downtown Kenosha, the U.S. Taekwondo Academy celebrates 48 years of teaching self-confidence and discipline as Jon Kim carries on his family's legacy following the passing of founding father Grandmaster Koang Woong Kim — a figure who helped shape U.S. taekwondo.
