- ➤ Ole Johnson, a senior at Harborside Academy, is hosting the Public Domain-A-Thon — a 13-hour movie marathon using public domain films — to raise funds for restoring Kenosha Theatre. The event supports local arts and reminds the community of its rich cultural heritage. Kenosha News

- ➤ Kenosha Unified School District is planning a referendum for November to address a projected shortfall of $10.6 million to $17.5 million for the 2026–27 school year and will hold a June 1 meeting to design a community survey and outreach plan (declining enrollment and rising costs are cited as causes).
