  • Erik C. Thomas, a 34-year-old man from Illinois, appeared in Kenosha court on May 30 for alleged burglary during the 2020 riots after years in federal custody—his bail was set at $50K—.  Kenosha County Eye

  • After the Urban League of Racine and Kenosha criticized KUSD policies in an open letter on May 29, Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Weiss released a formal statement on May 30 defending the district’s practices and saying each case is looked at separately.
