CRIME NEWS

  • Judge Angelina Gabriele will lead court hearings in the cold case murder of David Vanderzee as Kenosha County prosecutors ask for $1 million bail for each defendant — drawing close watch by the legal community.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Jose E. Nunez Andino, 34, of Kenosha was charged with felony intimidation and false imprisonment after he allegedly assaulted his partner and blocked her attempt to call 911—stopping a call by her 16-year-old son while his 5-year-old daughter watched—and fled the home, with bail set at $2,500 and a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 12.  Kenosha County Eye
  • A 41-year-old Kenosha man, Daryl L. Scott, was charged Tuesday in Kenosha County Circuit Court with felony battery after he allegedly punched a man during a dispute that injured the victim’s jaw and required surgery—his first court appearance is scheduled for July 3 at 1 p.m.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Ramiro J. Diaz, a 19-year-old from Zion, Illinois, was arrested in Kenosha County after he allegedly led police on a dangerous high-speed chase that reached over 120 mph—forcing oncoming traffic off the road.  Kenosha County Eye
