- ➤ The 2025 Kenosha Civic Veterans Parade—presented by Snap-on—will march through downtown on Sunday, June 29 starting at 1 p.m., with over 120 units including marching bands, dance routines and award-winning floats. - ➤ The iconic Lakefront Trolley will resume weekend rides in Kenosha starting tomorrow through August 30, running Fridays from 3:45 to 9:15 p.m., Saturdays from 1:45 to 9:15 p.m. and Sundays from 1:45 to 6:15 p.m., while offering a scenic route that passes key spots (including stops near the University of Wisconsin Parkside, Carthage College, downtown and the Kemper Center). - ➤ Staff at Hawthorn Hollow Nature Sanctuary captured a man repeatedly stealing from donation boxes on camera and notified police—who later arrested him—even though no formal charges have been filed as the nonprofit continues to rely on community donations for its trails and education programs. - ➤ Julian Nava, a 20-year-old from Highwood, Ill., was charged with six misdemeanors after allegedly pointing a loaded firearm at Kenosha residents while intoxicated and attempting to break into a home — police had recommended two felonies. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ Kenosha Pops Concert Band will celebrate its 103rd summer concert season by performing every Wednesday night at 7 p.m. from June 18 through Aug. 6. Kenosha News
- ➤ On Saturday, about 3,000 visitors will gather at Mighty Grand Dairy in Brighton for the 44th annual dairy breakfast where families will enjoy home-cooked pancakes, scrambled eggs, and more while the farm showcases updated dairy operations—offering shuttled parking and vendor activities as part of a long-standing tradition.
