- ➤ On Thursday night a home on the 3800 Block of 14th Ave was severely damaged by a fire after residents delayed calling 911—fire officials said the blaze began when an upstairs tenant dropped a lit cigarette onto a mattress on the upper deck near the Piss Tunnel. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ Emergency crews rescued an unresponsive man from the rooftop of a commercial building in the 8300 block of Lexington Place in Pleasant Prairie on June 12 using a Stokes basket— a special rescue stretcher— and a ladder system, then took him to Froedtert Pleasant Prairie Hospital for care while his condition remains unknown.
