- ➤ A 31-year-old Kenosha man was charged with felony strangulation and suffocation, misdemeanor battery, and disorderly conduct after he allegedly strangled and assaulted a 28-year-old woman following the July 3 fireworks at Paddock Lake—he was ordered $1,500 cash bail and a preliminary hearing is set for July 15. - ➤ Kenosha County Circuit Court began the trial of Myron Faith Bowie, 38, of Salem Lakes, after jurors watched body-worn camera footage and heard allegations that he doused his children's mother in rubbing alcohol and set her on fire while their four children slept—he allegedly tried to mislead deputies about where the attack occurred.
