- ➤ Kenosha’s Rhode Center for the Arts will host a 24-hour musical fundraiser this Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Volunteers from Lakeside Players are writing, rehearsing, and performing the new show to raise money for repairing the historic theater's roof — built in 1927. TMJ-4
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Kenosha Kraken mural is complete in a downtown alley and shows a sea monster with hip sunglasses grabbing a streetcar and an AMC vehicle. It is part of a mural project that will transform nine building walls, and local artist Leeanna Chipana noted support from Mayor Dave Bogdala — with help from Rust-Oleum as fundraising continues for the remaining work.
