- ➤ The Kenosha Unified School District board approved a 2.95% raise for its 2,000 teachers while postponing similar increases for 134 administrators due to a projected $4.4 million deficit and a $7 million state aid drop—federal funds to support low-income student programs were also frozen. The board will review administrator pay in August and urged Congress to release the frozen education grants. WLIP
