- ➤ Kenosha high school alumni are planning a series of reunions from Aug. 1 through Oct. 9—including milestone events for classes from the 1950s to the 1980s and even a joint reunion in July 2026—at local venues with details on food, fees and formats available from event organizers. These gatherings will offer opportunities for casual get-togethers, themed celebrations and organized activities like golf tournaments and guided tours. Kenosha News

- ➤ Willow Newell from Racine, the first African-American Miss Wisconsin and former Miss Kenosha, won the Miss Racine title earlier this year — and she is now traveling around the state as she prepares to compete in the national pageant in Orlando in early September. She earned a music theater degree from Carthage College last May and spoke on WGTD about her next challenge. WGTD
