- ➤ Joshua Emmanuel Norman, 40, of Kenosha was charged with felony threat to a law enforcement officer after he allegedly threatened to shoot and assault a police officer during his arrest, according to the sheriff’s office. He appeared in court yesterday—bail was set at $5,000 and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 5. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ A 25-year-old East Troy woman allegedly drove 113 mph on I-94 while intoxicated and resisted arrest when officers tried to stop her—she was charged in Kenosha County Circuit Court, released on a $1,200 bond, and must return to court on Sept. 12. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ Gov. Evers spoke at Scoops in downtown Kenosha on July 30, saying he signed a two-year budget bill that offers only modest aid to public schools despite bipartisan talks.
