- ➤ David A. Polkey, 60 from Union Grove, faced a felony charge for allegedly punching a pregnant nurse at Aurora Hospital—he reportedly passed away on July 21 and the charge will be dismissed. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ A 38-year-old Illinois man, Fidel Juarez Tapia, was charged with multiple felony and misdemeanor counts after allegedly resisting arrest and kicking a sheriff’s deputy following a rollover crash in Bristol on August 6 at 3:01 p.m.—he was formally processed in Kenosha County Circuit Court. - ➤ On August 6, five students completed the summer STEM Works course at Kenosha Emerging Leaders Academy that taught tool safety, industrial robotics, multimeter use and 3D printing. Graduate Marcus Hill said he will use the earned certificates to support his goal of attending UW-Madison — the course was offered in partnership with the Kenosha YMCA and Gateway Technical College.
