- ➤ On August 21, police responded after a witness reported a Kenosha man holding his wife during an argument; 54-year-old Gerardo Mora Acosta was charged Monday with false imprisonment and disorderly conduct—he faces up to six years in prison. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ An Illinois woman was charged Monday in Kenosha County Circuit Court after she hit her boyfriend’s fiancée with a hammer inside a rental property—she caused a fractured orbital bone and a concussion. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ Anthony Neal, a 53-year-old Zion man, was charged with two counts of attempted first-degree intentional homicide for firing shots at a vehicle carrying his former partner and another man in a Kenosha apartment complex parking lot last Monday at 9 p.m.—he is held on a $250,000 bond and faces life imprisonment if convicted with a preliminary hearing set for Wednesday.
