- ➤ A 14-year-old girl named Natalia Lisamas died Friday night in Kenosha when she was struck while crossing busy 52nd St in the 1900 block and the driver— a 53-year-old woman—stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police. WGTD
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ 35-year-old Tiron Washington, already held on $5 million bail for an alleged execution-style homicide, was charged Tuesday with biting a correctional officer during a violent outburst at Kenosha County Jail—his bail was raised by $15,000. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ The first day at Harborside Academy brought both excitement and loss as students and staff remembered beloved teacher Mr. Underwood—who passed this summer. - ➤ Today, more than 19,000 students return to class in the Kenosha Unified School District while police urge drivers to slow down in school zones, at crosswalks, and by bus stops—officers are increasing patrols to catch speeding and drivers who do not stop for school buses. - ➤ A Milwaukee developer offered to invest $2 million in improvements at Kemper Center Arts—adding a cafe, garden and outdoor atrium in a revenue-sharing deal. Kenosha County board members reported Tuesday that the project will require a long-term contract with the non-profit to secure national accreditation and boost the historic lakefront park’s financial stability.
