EDUCATION NEWS

  • Carthage College in Kenosha reported a record first-year class for this fall — college officials noted that enrollment numbers exceeded those of past years.  Kenosha News
  • The Kenosha Unified School Board met Tuesday evening to discuss funding for security upgrades at seven schools, update policies on service animals and meeting procedures, and honor Italian and Polish heritage with designated resolutions and a special board appreciation week. The board will review plans and gather input with cost estimates coming soon — the next regular meeting is scheduled for October 28th at 7:00 p.m.  WLIP

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • The City of Kenosha will soon begin razing four former Kenosha Unified School District buildings for redevelopment — a step that is expected to pave the way for future projects.  Kenosha News
