GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ New video evidence has emerged in a lawsuit against a top KUSD executive who threw a water bottle on June 5, 2023, sparking community anger. Community members say the district must answer for its handling of the legal fight — the case continues to raise concerns. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ The ACLU of Wisconsin filed a petition urging the Wisconsin Supreme Court to rule that local sheriffs—including Kenosha County Sheriff David Zoerner—broke state law by holding people on ICE detainers, with his office transferring 17 detainees from 26 requests since January 1. Kenosha County Eye
