- ➤ On Saturday, about 65 cyclists rode a nearly 16-mile route on safe trails from Kemper Center to Petrifying Springs and stopped for free drinks at the Biergarten—police escorted the ride for safety. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ Three Harbors Council volunteers will host the Run-Da-Ko-Ta 5k on Saturday, October 25 at 9:00 a.m. at Camp Oh-Da-Ko-Ta in Burlington — the event will raise money for the 2025 Friends of Scouting Campaign to support outdoor programs for youth. Kenosha.com

Housing needs were discussed as Extension Kenosha County Community Development Educator Savannah Meyers presented the Housing Task Force’s work, and lawmakers provided legislative updates with a Bi-County session set for spring. - ➤ Kenosha will begin demolishing four former school buildings — Washington Middle School, McKinley, KTEC East and KTEC West — this winter to clear the way for new development.
