  • Michael Barnes, 44, a Bullen Middle School teacher, was fired by the Kenosha Unified School District on October 1 after allegations emerged that he engaged in inappropriate online communications with a student — district officials have not provided additional details.  Kenosha County Eye

  • On Oct.1, 2025, outgoing board chairman Tim Mahone led a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Kenosha Innovation Center in a 109-acre innovation neighborhood built on former auto industry land.
