- ➤ The new multi-million dollar Kenosha Innovation Center opened today—signaling a fresh start for local business growth—and is set to attract new investments in the area. Kenosha News
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Governor Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announced that applications for the Food Security and Wisconsin Products Grant Program are now open—nonprofit groups can apply for grants of up to $5 million until Nov. 5th. The program, funded by a $10 million investment, will begin projects in February 2026 to support local food pantries. WLIP
- ➤ District Attorney Solis went before the Judiciary and Law Committee Wednesday night and got strong support from the public + law enforcement after a previous meeting saw one-sided attacks by Judge Kerkman and Supervisor Franco. He said his office will add new prosecutors so that the team will have 15 by the end of October. Kenosha County Eye

- ➤ The Brat Stop in Kenosha is getting ready for a busy Saturday as Cubs and Brewers fans gather for the playoff series. The restaurant, located near the Illinois line, will see heavy traffic from fans coming from Chicago and Milwaukee—boosting its business ahead of the series. TMJ-4
