- ➤ Lakeshore Business Improvement District, Ktown Connects Podcast, and Blue House Books will host Kenosha’s final cleanup event for 2025 tomorrow at Blue House Books on 6th Avenue A with refreshments at 9:30 a.m. and cleanup running from 10 to 11 a.m.—volunteers must be 18 or accompanied by an adult. - ➤ Bristol village officials plan new developments that could grow the population by 25% by 2050 along I-94, but neighbors worry the changes will take away the town's country feel—residents have held three public meetings and will share more at a Planning Commission meeting later this month. TMJ-4
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Kenosha Mayor David Bogdala said the City Council voted to create a commission that will study a passenger rail link between Kenosha and Milwaukee so the city can qualify for federal support. He noted the plan uses no local funds and the commission must be formed before Nov. 1 — a key step for future growth. WLIP
- ➤ Tammy Jo Rose, the bailiff for Judge Chad Kerkman, is set to receive a taxpayer-funded settlement worth tens of thousands after breaking local rules by keeping her miniature horse Sir Trottington as an emotional support animal on her 1.5-acre lot.
