- ➤ Racine County Executive Ralph Malicki said on Oct. 11 at 9 a.m. that he was surprised when Microsoft dropped its Caledonia data center plan after local pushback—he said he supports its Mt. Pleasant project and noted water use is very low as Microsoft looks for another site in southeastern Wisconsin, including one near Kenosha. WGTD

- ➤ Kenosha kindergartner Miles Lawler at St. Joseph Catholic Academy became an All-Star in the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge by raising over $500 in his first year—he plans to continue fundraising to support heart research and community wellness. Kenosha.com
