GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ U.S. Rep. Bryan Steil and GOP leaders sent a letter Friday urging Gov. Tony Evers to let Wisconsin join a federal tax credit scholarship program that helps low- and middle-income families pay for school costs — the program gives a dollar-for-dollar credit of up to $1,700 for donations to approved scholarship groups covering expenses like tuition and tutoring. They said blocking the program denies Wisconsin families key educational support. WLIP
