GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Kenosha County hosted six drug take back events Saturday as part of National Prescription Drug Take Back Day where residents safely dropped off unused medications and received Narcan training; County Executive Samantha Kerkman and Pleasant Prairie Police Chief David Smetana helped manage busy sites, including one at BMO Bank on 52nd Street that featured the new therapy dog Winnie—now a community favorite.
