COMMUNITY NEWS

  • The Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha is hosting its Member Holiday Celebration Gift Drive from November 1 to December 5 to supply new wrapped gifts valued at $30 or less to help 360 youth aged 6 to 18—local community members and businesses can drop off gifts at 1330 52nd Street or arrange a pick-up by the second Friday in December.  Kenosha.com

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Kenosha County kicked off Veterans Day events today when the Veterans Service Office hosted a breakfast and resource fair. Two awards were presented to honor local veterans.  Kenosha News
  • Washington Municipal Golf Course closed its 2025 season on Sunday after a 5% revenue gain over 2024 and record group outings, city officials said. Parks Director Katie Elder said the course will reopen early April pending funding for creek stabilization, path repairs, and irrigation upgrades — more details will be posted on the city website.  WLIP
