- ➤ Golden Corral in Kenosha will mark its 25th Annual Military Appreciation Night on Nov. 11 by serving a free dinner buffet to active-duty military, retirees, reservists, guardsmen, and veterans from 4 p.m. until close—local Disabled American Veterans chapters will begin accepting donations on Oct. 27 to support essential services. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On November 8, Kenosha received a $5.6 million federal grant to extend its bike trail from 35th St to past 52nd St into the Innovation Neighborhood. City officials said the grant will cover most of the $7.3 million project—while the city's $700,000 share is expected to be funded through additional grants or capital improvements. WGTD
