- ➤ Julias Crump was appointed to the Rev. Raymon L. Pedersen Distinguished Professorship in Social Change at Carthage College on Nov. 9 to lead discussions on inequity. He will host a public reception at 4:30 p.m. on Nov. 17 in the Campbell Student Union — the endowed position was created with a $1.5 million pledge from LeAnn Pedersen Pope. WGTD
