- ➤ Yesterday, the board of directors of 262 Moms Resources Inc. asked the community not to discuss the controversy after former director Alanna Schumacher shared her side via a phone call and Facebook Live. Schumacher — who denied using nonprofit funds for personal expenses — said board president Jamie Warosh had approved the charges. Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ Families enjoyed a snow day in Pleasant Prairie as lake-effect snow dropped 13—14 inches in some areas, leading Kenosha Unified School District to cancel classes and fill Ingram Park with sledding children. - ➤ A crowd gathered at the Pleasant Prairie Veterans Memorial in Prairie Springs Park on November 9 for the 18th annual Veterans Day ceremony—honoring those who served. Kenosha News

- ➤ Soundbar Musick Cafe, a new live music venue, will open in downtown Kenosha on Nov. 15 — the venue will provide more than a bar by hosting various live music events. Kenosha News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Students at Wilmot Union High School built two complete sets of garage walls for Habitat for Humanity homes—using skills learned in class to support local families. Their work shows the strong community service effort of the school's construction class. Kenosha News
