  • County Executive Samantha Kerkman and Kenosha County Parks will host the third-annual tree lighting ceremony at Petrifying Springs Park on Nov. 29, starting at 11 a.m. with a Biergarten offering refreshments and family activities before the official tree lighting at 5 p.m.—the free event will also feature ornament decorating and a visit from live reindeer.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Racine Kenosha Community Action Agency works with local groups to share resources and help low-income residents. The agency invites community partners to join efforts in food, housing, and health support—showing that working together builds a stronger community.  Kenosha.com

BUSINESS NEWS

  • SAVECO North America Inc.—a water treatment equipment manufacturer—announced it will relocate its operations from Gurnee to Pleasant Prairie. The company plans to shift its business to a new location in Pleasant Prairie.  Kenosha News

  • Kroger announced Tuesday that its automated grocery fulfillment center on Highway H in Pleasant Prairie, built less than five years ago, will close in February—eliminating 211 jobs including 81 delivery drivers and 73 personal shoppers.  WGTD

  • Gov. Tony Evers announced $14 million in federal grants to build 26 new electric vehicle charging stations across the state—designed to boost fast-charge access and support clean energy jobs.  WLIP
