- ➤ The City of Kenosha opened its outdoor ice rink at Veterans Memorial Park today outside City Hall at 5220 Sixth Avenue. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., and the Skate Hut offers free skate checkouts (photo ID required). Kenosha County Eye
- ➤ The Kenosha County Snowmobile Alliance says snowmobile trails remain closed after recent snowfall because trail markers are incomplete and hunting season is underway — a crew is scheduled to finish work this Sunday. Riders are reminded not to trespass on unmarked trails to prevent damage. TMJ-4
- ➤ Downtown business owner Deshaun Foster of Blak Coffee donated nearly 75 Thanksgiving meal kits to several Kenosha Unified schools to help local families in need. Kenosha News
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The 48th annual Horlick Renaissance Feast will transport guests to 1588 + feature over 90 Horlick vocal music students performing in the Great Hall at The DeKoven Center on 600 21st St. This historic event promises a unique experience for our community. Kenosha News
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ A Kenosha third grader from Harvey Elementary School has been honored as an All Star after raising over $1000 for the American Heart Association's Kids Heart Challenge. The fundraiser highlights local school efforts to support heart health. Kenosha News
- ➤ Greyson Rigney, a local kindergarten student, earned Kids Heart Challenge All-Star status for helping others in the community & setting an example for his peers. Kenosha News
