  • Visit Pleasant Prairie now offers the county’s only North Pole mailbox at its Welcome Center (4721 75th St.) which has been open since Dec. 1 for families to send free holiday postcards to Santa for a reply until Christmas Eve; postcards dropped after Dec. 20 may receive delayed responses.  Kenosha.com
  • The annual Shop with a Cop event gave 56 Kenosha children $250 each to shop for holiday gifts as they spent time with local officers Saturday at Walmart in the city — an event that strengthened community ties and set a joyful tone for the season.  Kenosha County Eye

  • Keisean Nixon made a game-saving interception with seconds left on Sunday as the Packers beat the Bears 28+21, taking first place in the NFC North. Jordan Love threw for 234 yards and three touchdowns to seal the win and boost the team's season.  WLIP
