  • A local leader said Eli Lilly’s $3 billion expansion in Pleasant Prairie is set to add 750 high-skill jobs—boosting local manufacturing and small-business growth—as more major companies move in. EDUCATION NEWS

  • UW-Parkside hosts an interactive AI event (featuring coding puzzles and AI demos) where middle schoolers and their families learn how AI models work and why human oversight is important.  Kenosha News
  • Seven Kenosha students were honored with the Mayor’s Youth Achievement Awards on Dec. 9 at City Council chambers for leadership, academic excellence and community service - the award program will continue with future nomination periods available online.  Kenosha County Eye

  • Invenergy, +which built a large solar farm in Paris+, is holding an open house at Somers Village Hall on Thursday, Dec. 11 with sessions at 1:30 and 5:30 to discuss its proposed Red Oak Energy Center, a natural gas-fired power plant aimed at meeting rising electricity demand.  WGTD
