  • Northside Library in Kenosha changed its hours on July 31 due to a broken air conditioning unit at 1500 27th Ave. Library officials said the new schedule will remain until repairs are complete and normal hours resume Aug. 15—staff and patrons will be updated if safety conditions change.  Kenosha News

  • Kenosha Police issued a $15,000 arrest warrant Wednesday for John Donell Jackson (19) from Florida who is wanted for burglary and theft at Blackhawk Tobacco on Roosevelt Road after months of investigation by Detective Daniel Wienke.  Kenosha County Eye
  • A 21-year-old man from Zion, Illinois was charged on July 31 in Kenosha County Circuit Court for leading a high-speed chase that reached 108 mph, and he was set with ($40,000 cash bail) with a preliminary hearing scheduled for August 6.  Kenosha County Eye
  • A Kenosha man admitted damaging two local golf courses and was ordered to serve 20 days in jail this week—after multiple probation violations and less than a year after he avoided a felony conviction.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Angel N. Holman, 47, from Kenosha was sentenced to five years in state prison on July 31 for heroin and cocaine charges from a 2023 traffic stop—her multiple missed court appearances and earlier arrests influenced the verdict.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Victoria L. Lebron—37—a Kenosha woman, violently attacked an elderly woman inside the Kenosha County Courthouse and was sentenced to six months in jail as a condition of probation on July 31 at 11:30 a.m.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Sheriff’s deputies stopped a 53-year-old Milwaukee man last Friday in Bristol, where a loaded handgun — armor-piercing bullets, fentanyl, cocaine and ecstasy — was found and he now faces multiple felony charges.  Kenosha County Eye
  • Anthony J. Cooks, 30, repeatedly chose violence, drugs & fraud for over 15 years, with court records showing multiple probation revocations and jail stints despite several chances to change his behavior.  Kenosha County Eye
