- ➤ A conservative watchdog group filed a lawsuit Tuesday in federal court against the Wisconsin Judicial Commission, alleging that a state law forces secrecy on dismissed misconduct complaints and violates the First Amendment—if the gag rule is struck down, it could increase transparency in how judges are held accountable. - ➤ Kenosha’s Public Works Committee approved contracts to demolish four former school buildings, awarding $542,000 for Lincoln Elementary and $2 million for Washington Middle and McKinley Elementary and Middle with a 15% contingency for unforeseen issues.
